Can I take Strauss products while on prescribed medication?
All Strauss products can be taken while on prescribed medications. However, we do recommend that you leave 1 hour between taking medications and any Strauss product. In some cases your prescription may require a dose adjustment. Please consult your doctor or healthcare professional. Please read the product label for complete directions of use.
Can I take more than one Strauss product?
Yes. However, we recommend 30 minutes between Strauss products. We advise this wait time to maximize the effects of each individual Strauss product.
How long before I will notice any results?
The length of time it takes to feel results will depend on the Strauss product that you are taking and the individual. Generally, most people will notice an improvement in 2-6 weeks. There are some exceptions. For example, with our Regularity Support, results are usually within a few hours. It is very important to be consistent and follow label instructions when taking any Strauss product.
What if I do not get the results?
If you have followed the directions of use consistently, then usually we will recommend you increase the dose and frequency to the upper limits. In some cases a dietary or lifestyle change may be necessary, along with a complementary product. If you do not get the results you were looking for please contact us.
Are there any side effects or adverse reactions?
Generally there are no adverse reactions or side effects with Strauss products, however with some of our products some people do experience a detoxification stage which may include mild headaches, skin rashes, and diarrhea. Please read the product label for complete risk information.
What type of alcohol is used in the preservation of the tincture?
Strauss Herb Company uses ethanol alcohol made from corn in the production of the Strauss Heartdrops® and the tinctures.
Are your herbs organically grown?
No, they are not. However, every batch of every Natural Health Product (NHP) is thoroughly tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contamination. None of the herbs are genetically modified organism and many are wild crafted from their native habitat.
Are your capsules made from plant material?
Yes, we only use capsules made from plant material.
